Acid recovery out of pickling acids

Salts and acids can be concentrated or separated from solutions by electrodialysis. For this, ions (anions and cations) are transported through the ion exchange membranes by the applied electrical field. Typical examples for the usage of electrodialysis are:

  • Acid recovery at pickling lines
  • Recovery of metals out of electro-plating rinsing water
